Stucco (before and after)
It can be wonderful
or
It can be a nightmare

You need a contractor who understands stucco as well as he understands paint.

Here are some things to know:
• No one can prevent cracking when a house shifts
• But repaired cracks can be made invisible.
• Repaired cracks don't need to lead to mold and mildew problems
• Repaired cracks should not crack again (assuming no more shifting of a house)
• ALL cracks or holes must be permanently sealed to prevent mold and mildew that could destroy your walls over time
• Use of a pressure washer is necessary
• However, improper use of a pressure washer can severely damage the stucco
• Improper prep work on a crack guarantees it will crack again in the near future
• When all that is done correctly, you still need the right finish.

We only use premium acrylic Terpolymer coatings on stucco because:
1. It is longer lasting and waterproof
2. It automatically fills hairline cracks that would later allow moisture penetration
3. It has excellent weather resistance
4. But is highly flexible, to help avoid future hairline cracks
5. It is mildew resistant
6. Offers superior adhesion properties
7. and has superior color retention
